Port Santorini Common Areas
Located along the beautiful shores of Lake Keowee, the Port Santorini Common Area spans over 5 acres and is reserved exclusively for residents of the Port Santorini Association and their accompanied guests. It's a place to gather, relax, and enjoy the outdoors—please respect all posted rules to ensure it remains a welcoming space for everyone.
Access & Gate Policy
Entry to the Common Area is secured by a locked gate. Access is available only to Port Santorini residents and boat club members with issued keys. Please always lock the gate after entering or exiting. If you're using the boat ramp, remember to secure the gate once you're inside and again when leaving.
During approved private events, the gate may remain open temporarily but must be locked immediately after the event ends.
Reserving the Pavilion or Common Area
The Pavilion and surrounding Common Area may be reserved for private events by residents. To reserve:
Submit your request by completing the Electronic Reservation Request Form on the Forms & Documents page
Please include your name, event date and time, and which areas you would like to reserve. A minimum of 7 days' notice is required. After checking availability, confirmation and further instructions will be sent via email.
A $50 refundable deposit is required for all new reservations. Payment is due within 7 days of receiving approval. The deposit will be fully refunded as long as the area is left clean, trash is removed, and no damage occurs.
Events must comply with all Oconee County Ordinances. Please extinguish grill coals and remove trash, as no regular collection is provided at the site.
The Pavilion
The covered Pavilion provides picnic-style seating and nearby access to a built-in grill. It's ideal for outdoor gatherings. Please ensure all lights and fans are turned off before leaving.
The Pergola & Play Areas
The Pergola offers a quiet spot to sit and enjoy the lake views. Adjacent to it is a large open field for activities like soccer, volleyball, and badminton, as well as a basketball hoop. These spaces are open to residents and their guests.
A children's play area is also available. For safety, children must be supervised at all times.
Swim Dock, Boat Ramp & Beach
Residents and boat club members may use the private boat ramp to launch watercraft. Boats must not be left tied to the dock longer than the time it takes to load or unload.
Long-term mooring is strictly prohibited and could result in penalties from Duke Energy, including revocation of the dock permit.
The swim dock and sandy beach are available for swimming and fishing. Please note that no lifeguard is on duty, and the dock must not be modified in any way.
